The Giving Trees – Starting Nov. 22 This year our recipients for The Giving Trees are Nativity of Our Lord parish, St. Joseph Helpers, and the St. Vincent DePaul at St. Alphonsus-St. Clement & St. Maria Goretti.
Nativity Parish – (Red & Green Ornaments) Please take a gift tag ornament if you want to purchase a gift for Nativity. All gifts should be unwrapped, with the tag attached, and placed under the tree or dropped off at the parish office.
St. Joseph Helpers – (Blue Ornaments) They are a Christian-valued nonprofit providingfree, minor, safety-related home repairs to seniors, disabled, veterans, and those in need. $25 Gift Card donations from Ace Hardware, Home Depot, and Lowes would be greatly appreciated! These donations will be used to purchase materials for the home repairs.
St. Vincent de Paul Christmas Giving Program – (White envelopes) Last year St. Alphonsus-St. Clement’s SVdP gave out approximately 70 gift cards valued at $25 each for underprivileged children 16 and under in our community. Gift cards from Meijer, Target or Walmart can be left in the offertory boxes or dropped off at the parish office. St. Maria Goretti SVdP Food Pantry continues to need monetary donations to purchase food. Simply provide cash or a check made payable to St. Maria Goretti SVDP.
