Many thanks to all who have remembered my birthday with your cards and gifts. It does make turning 78 a little easier and maybe even joyful. Thanks too for all your prayers for my health and wellbeing. Our parish is a loving and supportive community that shares in all the good and hard times. Thank you for all you do.
Our Family Faith Formation program is off to a good start with classes scheduled for Mondays from 5:30 – 7:00 pm. The first part of classes deals with information, the second with what we call “inculturation” – explaining our Catholic heritage. The information is primarily directed to adults and conducted by Deacon Tom. Deacon will be using a series of talks inviting a deeper relationship with the Holy Spirit. ALL parishioners are welcome to attend these talks with the parents of our students. The theme for Monday, October 9th is “the Holy Spirit — the Breath of God”.
