November is almost here and it’s time to remember loved ones and friends who have entered eternal life. This coming Friday, November first, we celebrate All Saints canonized and all the folks we have known through the years who we have experienced as “saints”. These holy people have influenced our faith and morals and helped us to be who we are today. Masses on this holy day of obligation are: 9:00 am, Noon and 5:30 pm. The All-Souls Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 4:00 pm on Saturday November second. Since the last All Souls Day our parish has had 33 funerals or memorial masses. This is one of the most important acts of faith and charity that a parish can perform. May all who have died rest in peace.

Election Day is November fifth, and all citizens are encouraged to vote. All Catholics are encouraged to pray as well. St. Kateri church will be open for adoration while the polls are open from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm. Mass will be celebrated at 9 am and again at 6:30 pm. The Knights of Columbus committed to spending time in church for prayer and adoration all day. Everyone is welcome to join them in prayer on this most important day.

Our annual Harvest Dinner will be on Saturday, November 16th with prepaid reservations taken at the Gift Shop and Parish Office. Tickets are $23. Doors open at 5:00 pm after Mass. Please respond early before we sell out.

We also will have our usual Giving Tree available before Thanksgiving. You will hear more in the weeks ahead. We are also looking forward to Family of Parishes Blood Drive on Sunday, December first. (The Lions are not playing that day!)

Have a great week and enjoy a busy November.
