This Monday, September 8th we begin our Faith Formation Program for children K – 8. All parishioners from St. Alphonsus – St. Clement Parish, St. Kateri and St. Maria Goretti are encouraged to participate. Non-registered or non-practicing families are also invited to attend. Classes are on Mondays 5:30 – 7:00 pm in St. Kateri Hall. New children enrolling need to have a copy of their Baptismal Certificate with them for registration. The program also offers remedial faith formation for all children who have not received sacraments normally celebrated at a younger age. An example might be a ninth grader not confirmed, and desiring to do so. Parents, please accept your privilege and responsibility for the faith formation of your child. Please remember:
ORIENTATION & REGISTRATION: MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 8TH 5:30PM AT ST. KATERI.
Classes for adults seeking Eucharist and Confirmation Sacraments, or folks who would be interested in learning about Catholicism and the possibility of Baptism will begin sessions on Monday, October 6th from 7 :15 – 8:45pm. The adult program is known as the Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA). The program is open to all parishes and interested pares. October 4th – 11th St. Kateri will be hosting an exhibit of Eucharistic Miracle from around the world. St. Carlo Acutis, being canonized this Sunday, September 7th. researched and compiled 150 miracles as a young boy in Italy. Look for more details in the weeks ahead. Anyone wishing to serve as a docent or guide, please let me know.
We are blessed to have another Deacon in our parish. He is married and retired and moving next door to us. With many years of ministry & experience he will be of great help for Deacon Tom and with our parish programs. I am happy to introduce Deacon Timothy Pilon. You can be most happy knowing you are now served by Tim, Tom and Terry!
