The Rouge Family of Parishes (St. Alphonsus-St. Clement, St. Barbara, St. Kateri, St. Maria Goretti) is becoming more and more a dynamic and purposeful reality with the appointment of six volunteer Directors to work with me & the other priests. As the Moderator I am asked to keep things moving forward with a harmonious and collaborative vision. And that vision can only be lived by appreciating the story of faith each parish has celebrated down through the years. Our Rouge Family of Parishes has been endowed with a beautiful legacy of Catholicism earned through the sacrifice of faithful and generous spirits. One marker of this is in the combined Seven Hundred Seventy-Seven years of Eucharist being celebrated in our neighborhoods. As we participate in Mass today, we can all appreciate and feel humbled that we are a part of that magnificent journey of Faith. Let us all be thankful for those who have prepared the way of the Lord for us!
