Terry Kerner,<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Lenten Season has moved very quickly this year. Next weekend we celebrate with palms Jesus&#8217; triumphant entry into Jerusalem. It is a busy weekend at St. Kateri. On Saturday we will have an 11:00 am Communal Penance Service and on Sunday morning our annual pancake breakfast. The weekend offers all of us an opportunity to come closer to the Lord and our fellow parishioners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Palm Sunday ushers in the most sacred time of the year for Christians. Our own liturgy schedule is:&nbsp;<strong>Holy Thursday&nbsp;<\/strong>Mass at 7:00 pm and Adoration until 9:00 pm.&nbsp;<strong>Good Friday&nbsp;<\/strong>Stations at Noon and the Liturgy of Good Friday at 1 pm.&nbsp;<strong>Holy Saturday&nbsp;<\/strong>Easter Basket Blessing is at Noon and the Liturgy begins at 7:00 pm.&nbsp;<strong>Easter Sunday Masses<\/strong>&nbsp;are at 9 and 11 am. I invite you to take the time to celebrate Holy Week in prayer with your fellow believers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are Irish or only partial Irish or even wish you were on this weekend, we wish you a delightful celebration of St. Patrick. The metro Detroit community did so last Sunday with their annual parade that grows bigger every year. Ireland&#8217;s celebration of St. Patrick&#8217;s Day is a more solemn occasion for Irish Catholics. They begin the day with morning Mass and then enjoy family gatherings sharing with their children their history, culture and customs. They might even sneak in an Irish Jig!
