Now that the Lenten season has come, we would like to remind you that our shop carries a variety of sacramentals and books that can provide inspiration and deepen your Lenten experience.  For many of us, the pandemic has brought up questions regarding our relationship with God and the role of our faith in responding to these times.

Stories of saints who have lived through difficult times, information on prayer and spirituality, and devotional books can provide us comfort and peace. As much as we may be tempted to think that we are alone in these circumstances, God is with us and has been present to all those who came before.  Just as Elijah had to learn to pay attention and recognize the “quiet” invitation from God, we can learn the same skills through scripture, the sacraments, prayer, and spiritual reading. God has given us the time to do that during this “shut down.”

The Gift Shop will be open on Friday afternoons before and after the 12:30pm Stations of the Cross service. We continue to be open shortly before and after the weekend Masses.  If you are unable to visit the shop during these times, please feel free to call Barb Cataldo (313-402-6890) or Pat Urban (313-359-0461) to make other arrangements. We are happy to help you.
